Book Writer’s Boot Camp is 8 sessions of pure book writing fun! Recruits will earn badges as they complete activities in each of the 8 sessions: genre, hero, villain, conflict, setting, plot, analysis, and chapter lists. They will emerge from this course with all the ingredients needed for their very own book. Recruits can be girls or boys who have completed grades 1-5.

Along the way they will learn grammar rules, practice editing, brainstorm with other recruits, and most of all, laugh. Participating in this course will allow recruits to practice important reading and writing skills needed for state tests. Best of all, recruits will develop a love of writing.

Boot camp recruits should wear comfy clothes and bring their creativity. All other supplies will be provided including water bottles. Please e-mail christi@chaplainpublishing.com if you have any other questions.
